The Alexandria Township Board of Education voted 9–0 on June 5 to approve a limited consent agenda that included personnel, finance and education items.
The motion, made by Caterina Dobak and seconded by April Abelman, passed on a roll-call vote recorded as "YES – 9 NO – 0 ABSENT – 0." The consent package covered the appointment of a School Business Administrator, several grant applications and multiple education policy actions (items B2, D2, and E1–E4 on the published agenda).
Board President Michael Small called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM and the vote occurred during the work-session business portion. The agenda noted that ratification of any summer hires would occur at the next regular meeting. No members of the public spoke during the public input periods opened at 7:16 PM and 7:29 PM.
The board then moved to executive session to address confidential matters as permitted under the Open Public Meetings Act.
