At its July 14 meeting, the Yellow Medicine East School Board approved claims totaling $564,364.40 (listed in the minutes as $190,976.10 and $373,388.30) and authorized wire transfers totaling $420,127.19. The consent agenda, moved by Sonja Pederson and seconded by Amanda Lecy, included acceptance of the June 9, 2025 meeting minutes and the finance reports "as submitted."
The board authorized Finance Officer Jeremy Wilcox and Tara Miller, director of human resources & payroll, to complete and authorize electronic fund transfers and to complete investments to yield the greatest potential return on secured accounts. The board also designated the district's banking depositories for the 2025–26 school year: FM Bank of Clarkfield (payroll), Citizens Alliance Bank Granite Falls (board account), Minnesota School District Liquid Asset Fund (receiving federal funds/state aid and levy revenue), and MN Trust (investments and electronic fund transfers).
