Administrators and the consultant presented a thematic synthesis of public feedback collected via Google Forms and summarized in the packet. The slides list ten themes raised repeatedly by families and staff in the process, including strong opposition to splitting established neighborhoods, concerns about moving students into near-capacity schools, transportation redundancy and safety, social and emotional stresses from reassignments, perceived inequities among neighborhoods, and requests for clearer rationales and communication from district staff.
Presenters noted the feedback was collected through an on-line form (309 responses to Concept 8B-5 were cited) and that the Input Team and Design Team reviewed responses and revised concepts accordingly. Administration acknowledged not all public suggestions could be adopted but said feedback was considered when developing Concept 9.
