The Waterville-Elysian-Morristown School Board approved its March–April financial report during the April 28 meeting, recording bills and payroll of $1,820,386.76, deposits of $1,506,550.55 and transfers of $979,000.00.
Business Manager Margaret Jewison presented the report and board member Jon Bakken called attention to a $505,786.45 check that represented costs paid before a bond sale was finalized. The board moved to accept the financial report in a motion by Bakken, seconded by June Rezac; seven members voted in favor and the motion was declared passed.
