Minutes show both approval and a later tabling of Cascade High valedictorian recognition

A later repetition of the same agenda item states, "Per the Board’s request, this resolution is being TABLED until the Fall."
The minutes do not reconcile the two entries or state which action is final. Because the record lists both a unanimous vote and a tabling for the same resolution, it is not possible from these minutes alone to determine whether the Board formally adopted the recognition or deferred it. The inconsistency appears in the official minutes and should be addressed by the district when the Board considers approval of these minutes at its June meeting.
Board Chair Brett Stegall presided over the meeting; Mr. Rasmussen introduced the students at the valedictorian/salutatorian celebration earlier in the evening. The Board briefly adjourned during the celebration, and the minutes show the meeting reconvened to complete business. The district's next regular meeting is set for June 9, 2025, when the Board will consider approval of the May minutes.
