Commissioners recorded several sponsorship commitments for the Lighting of the Depot event: United Way pledged $250 to sponsor Santa and Mrs. Claus; the Grand Hotel and Between the Vines each committed $250 for lamppost sponsorships; Robbie Harvey pledged $75 and Winsome Stroll committed a lamppost sponsorship for $250. April Wesolowski will contact Hassler and Vaughns about additional $250 sponsorships.
The commission established ornament pricing at $12 each (the meeting discussed a $10 one‑year ornament and $12 for personalization, and the motion set the sale price at $12). Kristin Urani will stamp the ornaments and Teresa Evans will handle personalization.
Ava Wilson of Tennessee Valley Theater was approved to join the board. Bridget Jones of Tennessee Downtown will visit on Oct. 1, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss use of grant funds; the commission was asked to prepare three to five ideas. Tennessee Downtown will also host a community tree planting in Lebanon on Nov. 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
