Board approves agenda, consent items and a principals recognition resolution
Summary
At the Oct. 2 meeting the board approved the meeting agenda (MOTION 27), the consent agenda (MOTION 28), and ratified a resolution recognizing October as National Principals/School Administrators Month (MOTION 29); all motions carried 4-0 with three absences.
The Gresham-Barlow School District Board approved a set of routine actions early in the Oct. 2 meeting. Director Kris Howatt moved to approve the meeting agenda and Director Brenna Puderbaugh seconded; that motion carried 4-0 with three absences (MOTION 27).
The board then approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from Sept. 3 and Sept. 18, the financial report and personnel contracts, on a 4-0 vote (MOTION 28). Later the board ratified a resolution recognizing October 2025 as National Principals/School Administrators Month (MOTION 29), again on a 4-0 vote with three absences. The minutes record vote tallies for each motion and list the absent directors as Shawn Farrens, David Ligatich and Holly Riegelmann.
