Deputy Superintendent John Koch told the board Policy IKFA (Early Graduation) is redundant because the content has been incorporated into the graduation requirements policy; the administration recommended deletion and will forward that recommendation to the October consent agenda. "They will move this forward for deletion," the minutes state.
On Policy IKFB (Graduation Exercises), the board discussed relocating language about honorary diplomas from the fourth paragraph to the first and making a stand‑alone sentence clarifying that recipients of honorary diplomas may participate in graduation exercises. The agreed edits will also be placed on the October consent agenda for formal action.
