Board adopts Goodheart-Wilcox secondary health materials despite state-list discrepancy

Director Jeff Bullock presented the recommendation and the educator review team argued Goodheart-Wilcox was the right selection for KCSD. The minutes state the review team judged the Goodheart-Wilcox 9–12 materials "superior to the single state-approved option" even though the 9–12 edition does not appear on the state-approved list. Following the presentation, John Rademacher moved to approve the secondary health textbook and materials adoption; the motion was seconded by Jill O'Donnell and passed unanimously (5–0).
