The North Bend School District #13 Board of Directors adopted its 2026–27 budget and formal spending appropriations at the June 8 meeting. Resolution No. 2026-06 approves a total budget of $73,373,725 and sets legal spending authority by fund and function for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026.
Director Michelle Roberts moved adoption of Resolution No. 2026-06; Director DeAnne Wiedenmann seconded and the motion carried unanimously in the recorded vote. The resolution text states: "BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Coos County School District No.13 (North Bend) hereby adopts the budget for fiscal year 2026-27 in the total of $73,373,725." The board separately continued the resolution to impose and categorize taxes for tax year 2026–27, establishing a permanent rate tax of $4.1626 per $1,000 of assessed value and showing $0.00 for local option tax and for general obligation bond debt service.
The budget and associated appropriation schedule are on file at the district office at 1913 Meade St., North Bend. Board members recorded their votes in roll-call form during the meeting; the initial budget adoption vote was recorded as 5–0 with subsequent related motions recorded 6–0 where applicable.
