Trustees approve MOU with CSEA and hire hourly instructional aides

Trustees approved hires recommended by interview panels and site principals: Fatima Gomez was hired as a 6-hour/10-month Instructional Aide-Caregiver at Mendota High School; Faviola Andrade was hired as a 6.5-hour/10-month Instructional Aide-Caregiver at Washington Elementary School; and Rossely Gomez was transferred from a 6-hour/10-month Instructional Aide-Caregiver position to a 7.5-hour/10-month Office Clerk role at Mendota Unified State Preschool. The items were approved as part of action items on a 7-0 vote.
The board recorded the motion to approve the action items by Trustee Lupe Flores with Trustee Sergio Valdez seconding. The MOU with CSEA was listed under agenda item 11.1 and is tied to statutory provisions cited during the meeting.
