Cynthia Wright moved that the allegations in the complaint against Champion "have not been substantiated by a preponderance of the evidence" and that, pursuant to Policy KL, legal counsel prepare a final written decision addressing each allegation and reasons for dismissal. The motion was seconded by Suzanne Messer and passed with a roll call of Yea:5, Nay:0, Abstain:1, Absent:1 (Director Michael Williams recorded the abstention; Director Lilia Caballero was absent/exited prior to the vote).
The board instructed legal counsel to prepare the final written decision addressing each allegation in the complaint and the reasons for dismissal; no further action was taken at the Feb. 20 meeting.
