Student reps preview spirit week; principals report strong conference turnout and instructional alignment

Emily Emry said students voted on spirit days: "Monday will be snowstorm day and students are encouraged to wear all white," and described hallway-decorating competitions and a winter assembly. TES Principal Heather Lowe said fall conferences were "a great success with at least 87% of our families in attendance," and staff noted increases in alignment across elementary language-arts instruction after ORTII classroom observations.
Other principals highlighted band concerts, teacher recognitions (Rogue Credit Union's "Cool Teacher of the week"), community volunteer participation, and preschool grant awards. The board heard these reports as informational items and did not take formal action on the event initiatives.
