Vice Chair Rebecca Weathers opened the Phoenix-Talent SD 4 board work session at 5:00 PM on Nov. 20, 2025, and members spent a portion of the meeting debriefing their attendance at the OSBA annual convention. Board members highlighted the keynote address, sessions on student programs, a legislative representative panel, networking opportunities and a new OSBA board cohort training model and local regional roundtables.
Director Dawn Watson reminded board members who attended to complete the OSBA feedback survey so the organization can incorporate suggestions for improvement. The debrief underscored the boards interest in professional development and clearer public messaging about district priorities moving forward.
