Director Carol Yardley moved "to approve Resolution 2025-04 accepting, and authorizing appropriations in the Special Revenue Funds as follows: for the Preschool Promise Grant with appropriation for functions instruction, Community Services, and Facilities Construction." Director Dallas Petenbrink seconded the motion and the board voted 7-0 in favor.
District staff present at the meeting noted the appropriation will be recorded in the Special Revenue Funds but did not specify an award amount during the public meeting. Tim Crider was listed as the staff contact associated with the grant on the agenda.
The resolution was approved as part of the district's action items for the evening; the board also approved several other appropriations and personnel actions during the session. The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for April 3, 2025.
