Spearman ISD accepts two resignations, approves 2025–26 stipend list

After a closed session on personnel matters, the Spearman ISD Board reconvened on July 14 and accepted the resignations of two professional certified staff effective at the end of the 2024–25 school year: Nathaniel Morrel (JH Math) and Leigh Ann Eagle (JH Science). The motion to accept resignations was made by Jay Tracy and seconded by Abby Pipkin and carried 5-0; the minutes record that Board Member Mike Pearson had left the meeting at 8:30 p.m. prior to the vote.
The board also approved the district’s 2025–26 stipend list (Exhibit G), which itemizes coaching and extracurricular stipends for sports, sponsors and coordinators. That motion was made by Anne Marie Pearson and seconded by Abby Pipkin and carried 5-0. The approved stipend list includes head coach and assistant pay lines, extracurricular coordinators and campus-level stipends as shown in Exhibit G.
Both actions were recorded after the board’s closed personnel session and will be reflected in district staffing and payroll arrangements for the coming year.
