The South Umpqua School District Budget Committee unanimously elected David Marshall as Budget Committee Chair and Don Brown as Vice Chair during its April 16 meeting. Don Brown nominated Marshall; Cynthia Rohm seconded the nomination and the committee approved it without objection. Cynthia Rohm then nominated Don Brown for Vice Chair, and that nomination also passed unanimously.
After the elections, David Marshall reviewed the recommended ground rules for the committee and asked for comments. With no objections, Cynthia Rohm moved to approve the ground rules and Don Brown seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The committee recorded five members present and one absent for the session.
