The Lubbock County Commissioners Court on Feb. 9 appointed Roxane Stinson to several election roles for the March 3, 2026 Democratic and Republican joint primary, including joint elections officer and joint early voting clerk. The court also approved early voting dates and times, designated the county elections office at 1308 Crickets Avenue as the main early voting site, and confirmed a slate of ballot-board and election judges.
Elections staff explained provisional-ballot cure rules and said voters who cast provisional ballots because they lacked an acceptable photo ID have six days after election day to present ID. The court also authorized the elections administrator to fill vacant polling-location positions on election day to prevent operational delays.
