Anne Maria Pearson moved to appoint Renner and Jay Tracy seconded; the motion carried 5-0. Executive Secretary Nora Saenz administered the oath to Renner immediately after the appointment. The board recorded Mike Pearson’s resignation as effective July 29, 2025.
The appointment fills the vacancy left by Pearson and is effective Aug. 5, 2025. No additional procedural action was required to seat Renner; the board proceeded with the remainder of its agenda following the swearing-in.
