Human Resources Director Jennifer Duvall told the Corvallis School District Board on March 6 that the contract renewals before the board are distinct from staffing decisions and are intended to secure employee job rights. Duvall said the district provided contract documents to board members prior to the meeting and would answer questions from trustees.
"Contracts are different from staffing. Contracts ensure employees have job rights," Duvall said in response to a question. Following that clarification, the board voted 7‑0 to approve the Licensed Personnel Action. The district report notes the documents will be archived in the official 2024‑25 board records.
