Angela Hibbard, director of the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, provided cookies to the board and “expressed gratitude” to members for their dedication to students and partnership in supporting educational opportunities.
James Murray, campus steward and theater director at Crescent Valley High School, introduced student performers. Jayden Wang delivered two monologues and Marie Wells sang “As Long as He Needs Me” from the musical Oliver as part of the recognition segment recorded in the minutes.
The minutes record the recognition and performances as part of the board’s member recognition item; the record does not show a separate motion or vote tied to the recognition. Materials related to these recognitions (where applicable) are included in the meeting packet.
