Board discusses petition and ballot options; staff flags January petition deadline for May/June local ballot

S3 advised the board that wording and legal review would be required before proceeding and recommended community education and listening sessions as a first step rather than immediate petition-gathering.
Board members worried that industry groups already researching counties without zoning might act quickly; several members volunteered to attend a commissioners' meeting to present the planning board's findings and recommendations.
