Maggie, an IDA board member, told the board that the ABO reviewed the IDA website and "brought to our attention that it failed to include an intro, conflict of interest policy." She said the board reviewed a sample policy provided by the ABO and "would like to adopt, today, so that it can be included in our website." Maggie added that much of the content duplicates material in the IDA—thics policy but the separate conflict policy will make compliance clearer.
Board members raised no substantive objections. Lynn moved to adopt the policy and the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The Clerk said the policy will be included in the IDA nnual training going forward.
The action formalizes the IDA—oard's response to the ABO review and creates an explicit, website-visible conflict-of-interest statement for public access. No implementation date beyond "included in annual training" was specified.
