Board members discussed the value of a preliminary, non‑destructive set of tests, preserving chain of custody if evidence will be used later, and contacting the town attorney before any teardown or legal demand. One member recommended first checking with Ford customer service and investigating whether the vehicle's prior history (it came from Hardwick) is relevant.
