Jenkinsburg council confirms Planning & Zoning appointments and city officers for 2026

At its Jan. 12 meeting the Jenkinsburg City Council appointed Chris Foster to the Planning and Zoning Commission and reappointed Towana Brown, Allison Lunsford, Mike Rape and Charles Barber. Jason Watts moved the appointment action and Brent Eberspacher seconded; the motion passed on a recorded unanimous vote.
Council also approved a slate of 2026 appointments for city administration and contracted roles. The approved list in the minutes names Debi Smith as City Clerk/Treasurer; Cody Sorrow as Deputy City Clerk; Kent Lawrence as City Attorney; Natalie Sundeen as Municipal Court Judge; Brandy Strickland as Court Clerk; William Turner as Indigent Attorney; Chris Miranda (James Brannan, Groover LLP) as Solicitor; and Debra McGlaun, CPA, CFE, as auditor. Jason Watts moved to approve the appointments as presented; Gary Roberts seconded and the motion passed with all recorded votes in favor.
