District finishes summer facilities work; new bleachers and Hawks Nest to open Aug. 29

Facilities Director Ryan Allinger reviewed a range of summer maintenance, cleaning and repair projects across North Wasco County SD 21 campuses and thanked contractors and community partners who helped complete work over the break.
Allinger recognized Griffin Construction and local contractors for work at Chenowith Elementary and listed other contributors to the Hawks Nest bleacher and press-box project, including Les Schwab, Bishop, Pray Electric, A&L Construction, Chad Smith Excavating, the district facilities team, Friends of Football and Bleacher Experts. The Hawks Nest press box and bleacher installation will be formally opened at the Aug. 29 home football game.
The board and administration discussed sending a collective thank-you to partners who supported the athletic facility improvements; no district funding action was taken at the meeting.
