Board honors retirees and 25‑year employees; student representatives give year‑end report

At the May 27 meeting the board recognized retirees and employees with 25 years of service and received end‑of‑year updates from student board representatives and the activities director.
South St. Paul School Board and district leaders recognized the 2024–25 retirees — Margaret Palumbo, Robert Peterfeso, Lavonne Francis, Catherine Rue and Kris Weinfurtner — and employees marking 25 years of service: Heidi Mogollon, Erika Ryan, Brenda Miller and Joleen Macoich.
Student School Board Representatives Amal and Jackson summarized recent and upcoming events and reflected on their roles for the year. Activities Director Brady Krueger and spring coaches and advisors also highlighted seasons and student accomplishments. The board’s opening report included Chair Kim Humann noting stakeholder comments submitted to the board.
