At 2:21 p.m. Trustee Joe Profita moved to open a public hearing on personnel initial proposals for bargaining units; Trustee George Lozito seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The board recorded no discussion and no public input during the hearing.
Separately, Barry Simpson reviewed the process for a charter school renewal petition; the minutes state there was no public input on that petition either. Trustees later moved to close the public hearings and return to open session; the closure motion was approved 3-0.
