Kaye Balella and Yvonne Shortslin described next steps to strengthen multilingual supports and more timely website updates. "Our overall focus is on our communication planning throughout the district," Balella said, noting the team will continue process monitoring and school-level check-ins. Staff said they will present a separate language-access update next month and will use operational-plan metrics to track implementation fidelity.
Board members asked staff to continue disaggregating outcome data by parent vs. community samples and to use the vision cards to guide which measures will be monitored regularly versus temporary projects (such as attendance-boundary items).
