Board flags impact-fee updates after Budget Committee question; Select Board must act

During the Jan. 22 meeting Charles Underhill raised a concern that emerged at a Budget Committee meeting about contributions to impact fees and whether the current amounts remain appropriate. Chip Current told the Planning Board the school impact fee was last updated in 2015 and the public-safety impact fee in 2016.
Current said updating the fees would be a Select Board matter and would require a change via warrant article next year; the Planning Board agreed to review the issue and provide input as needed. No fee adjustments were proposed or voted on at the meeting.
