Sharp summarized estimated cost ranges and said the comprehensive option was roughly "$3 to $4 million" in construction costs (not including soft costs). "So when you add all these things up... you're somewhere between 3 and $4,000,000," Sharp said.
Staff emphasized this is a planning concept only and not a request for funding; they asked council for feedback on priorities and on pursuing fundraising and grant options. The council discussed possible sequencing (small‑scale furnishings and lighting upgrades first) and asked staff to return with additional cost breakdowns and public‑engagement plans if the council wishes to advance the concept.
