Tarkington ISD extends depository contract with Prosperity Bank through 2027

The Tarkington ISD Board approved a resolution May 19 to extend the district's depository contract with Prosperity Bank for the two-year term of Sept. 1, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2027. The motion, made by Susan Rollins and seconded by Dwayne Stovall, passed unanimously (Yea: 7, Nay: 0).
CFO Thad Lasater told trustees that under Texas Education Code the district may renew the depository contract for additional two-year terms following the initial award and that Prosperity Bank has agreed to continue under terms, conditions, and service levels satisfactory to the district. No dollar amounts or fee schedules were included in the minutes.
