Town Board approves Consolidated Kiamesha Sewer District Extension No. 4, Saddle Lane to bear costs

The Town Board adopted a Final Order authorizing Extension No. 4 of the Consolidated Kiamesha Sewer District and approved the related map, plan and report prepared by MHE Engineering. The resolution (Res. No. 299) states that all costs for construction, engineering, administrative, legal and other expenses shall be borne solely by the landowner, Saddle Lane, LLC.
The board found that the extension would benefit the included properties, that no petition for permissive referendum was filed, and that no application under Town Law Section 209-f was required for State Department of Audit and Control filing. The town clerk was directed to cause a certified copy of the order to be recorded in the Sullivan County Clerk’s office within ten days and to file a certified copy with the Department of Audit and Control if required.
The resolution passed on a motion by Councilwoman Melinda S. Meddaugh and a second by Councilman John A. Pavese. Present board members recorded their affirmative votes; Councilman Ryan T. Schock was absent.
