Board OKs Clayton Homes permit after Environmental Health septic confirmation

The Winston-Salem Zoning Board of Adjustment unanimously approved a special-use permit for a Class A manufactured home to be placed on a 1.441-acre RS9 lot at 2910 Susan Lane (Case Z2600186) during its May 7 meeting.
Project planner Rory Howard presented the site plan showing front, side and rear setbacks of 155.3, 73.3, 117.3 and 67.6 feet, respectively, all exceeding UDO requirements. Applicant representative Frank Williams and property owner Adam Hendrick testified; Hendrick addressed septic connections and Williams confirmed permitting status. "Mr. Hendrick provided testimony of septic connections, and Mr. Williams confirmed that the Environmental Heath permit has been obtained," the record states.
With no public opposition, Mr. Forrest moved and Ms. Hartsfield seconded approval; the board voted 6-0 to approve the permit per the plan on file. Staff's recommendation and the permit conditions will be enforced at permitting and inspections.
