Board notes Paint Street Park upgrades, surplus hose and Black Bridge delay; discusses pet-waste enforcement

Members also reported repeated pet-waste problems under the bridge near the concert area and discussed using code-enforcement ticketing, heavier fines for repeat offenders and possibly cameras to catch violators.
On infrastructure, staff said the Black Bridge project is moving slowly because the state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) requirements and other projects have the agency’s attention; staff will request an updated schedule from the project's lead. A board member welcomed 12-year-old Grayson Heffern to the meeting and encouraged youth involvement.
