Troy ISD board casts appraisal-district votes for Fulcher and Melton
Summary
Trustees voted unanimously Nov. 17 to cast 22 votes for Sam Fulcher to the Bell County Appraisal District board and 12 votes for Shirley Melton to the Falls County Appraisal District board; motions were carried without opposition.
At the Nov. 17 meeting the Troy ISD Board of Trustees cast district appraisal votes for two county appraisal-district board candidates.
On a motion by Tommy Valle, seconded by Carrie Trees, the board cast 22 votes for Sam Fulcher for the Bell County Appraisal District Board of Directors. The board later approved a motion by Bill Negron, seconded by Tommy Valle, to cast 12 votes for Shirley Melton for the Falls County Appraisal District Board. Both motions carried unanimously; the transcript records the ayes as Amy McKissick, Kirk Bailey, Tommy Valle, Carrie Trees, Gary McMurtry, Bill Negron and Lindsey Strait.
