During the business portion recorded in the minutes, Brent Beck moved and Ed Duskie seconded a motion to approve abatements #2621, #2622, #2623, #2624 and #2625; the minutes state the motion "passed unanimously." The record lists commissioners Beck and Duskie as voting affirmative on the motion.
Beck also moved to reappoint Jan Carlson as the Jewell County appointee to the Central Kansas Library District; Duskie seconded and the minutes record the motion passed unanimously. The commission also approved the July 21 commissioner minutes by a unanimous vote. The minutes also note earlier-in-the-day reappointments of Kendall Nelson and Steve Green to the hospital board as described by Commissioner Beck; the record does not clearly show a separate motion or vote for those appointments in the recorded minutes.
