Tulia ISD board updates Happy State Bank signatories; resolution passes unanimously

The Tulia Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously June 2 to revise the authorized signatories on district accounts at Happy State Bank to reflect current staffing and board personnel. Nicole Gore moved, and Jenni McCaslin seconded, “that the authorized signatories on the District Happy State Bank accounts be modified to reflect current staffing and board personnel changes and that the resolution be passed and remain in full force and effect until further notice in writing shall be given to the said bank by the Tulia IDS Board Trustees.” The motion passed unanimously.
The minutes list the new signatories for the General Fund as Clint Mahannah (Board President), Dixie Johnson (Superintendent), Diana Wolfe (CFO), Daniel Keith (Director of Special Programs) and Brandon Douglas (Director of Data and Services). School-level signatories were also listed: for the high school, Diana Wolfe (CFO), Robin Salazar (Principal) and Adam Rosales (Assistant Principal); for the junior high, Diana Wolfe (CFO), Lynett Walker (Principal) and Robert Vasquez (Assistant Principal); and for the elementary school, Diana Wolfe (CFO), David Dale (Principal) and Julie Burleson (Assistant Principal). The minutes also list five people to be removed from all accounts: Ashley Ramirez, Brandy Tirey, Katrina Garrett, Courtney Frausto and Mary Moralez. The minutes record the board vote as unanimous; they do not record individual roll-call votes in the open minutes.
The board packet and minutes identify the change as an administrative update to reflect staffing and board changes. The board's recorded presence at the called meeting included Clint Mahannah, Ashley Ramirez, Kacy Quinton, William Fifer, Nicole Gore, Jason Jack and Jenni McCaslin. Note: the minutes are internally inconsistent about which individual is referred to as “Board President” — the signatory list identifies Clint Mahannah as Board President, while a separate line in the minutes refers to “Board President Ashley Ramirez” when noting the call to closed session. The minutes do not reconcile this discrepancy.
