Commissioners suggested limiting how much of the frontage can be used for graphics and requiring review through the permit/CAB process so approval can be coordinated with building permits. Staff said they would prepare a draft ordinance for the Dec. 10 meeting and take the item to Planning & Zoning in January for formal review.
The consensus preserves the existing black/green screening option for projects that do not seek graphics and allows a pathway for commercial applicants to request approved display through an administrative/CAB process.
