Commission approves forfeiture-funded upgrade to Motorola public-safety radios

"Our current radios were discontinued in 2016 with service repair support ending this past December," the chief said.
The funding source and multiyear plan were discussed; no additional general-fund appropriation was required because the department will use forfeiture funds.
