Board of Equalization approves three homestead exemption matters

When the Board of Commissioners recessed and reconvened as the Board of Equalization, the Board approved several homestead-exemption items. The Board approved the Homestead Exemption application for Joel Bieschke and for Merle Fratzke following brief hearings in which County Assessor Roy Meusch was present to answer questions. The Board also allowed an application extension for Connie Riessland.
No members of the public addressed the hearings and each action was approved by roll-call vote of the board members present (Absent: Timothy Higgins). These actions were recorded during the equalization session and will be processed through the Assessor’s office as indicated in the minutes.
