Pitman Council approves consent agenda including outdoor dining permits and recreation grant application

At its Feb. 24 meeting, the Borough of Pitman Council approved a consent agenda listing Resolutions No. 51 through No. 61 covering personnel and finance items, business permits and grant applications.
Councilman Fitzpatrick presented the consent agenda, which included: Resolution No. 51, 2025 (execution of the 2025 TRICO JIF safety contract and implementation provisions); resolutions authorizing refunds related to tax sale certificate foreclosure fees and real estate taxes; multiple outdoor eating permit approvals with and without BYO addenda for Mannino’s Cucina Italiana, Merryman’s Pub, Lucia’s Cafe and Pizzeria Mannino’s; Resolution No. 58 requesting permission for a dedication by rider for a Senior Outreach Trust Fund as required by "N.J.S.A. 40A:4-39"; authorization to submit and execute the 2025 Local Recreation Improvement Grant; Firemen’s Association membership; and an emergency temporary budget.
Fitzpatrick moved the consent agenda; James seconded. Roll-call votes were recorded with Council President James, Councilman Fitzpatrick, Councilwoman Guarni, Councilwoman Musto and Councilman Uyehara voting yes. The motion carried.
The council also approved payment of the bills for Feb. 24, 2025, by motion of Fitzpatrick and second by James with unanimous roll-call approval.
