Union Grove ISD approves Region 7 purchasing agreement, authorizes additional district credit cards

On June 12 the Union Grove ISD Board approved participation in the Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative Interlocal Agreement and adopted a related resolution to formalize the district's participation for 2025–26. The motion to approve the interlocal agreement was made by Justin Smith and seconded by Tim Bower and carried unanimously.
The board also authorized obtaining additional credit cards through Texas Bank and Trust to support district purchasing, after a motion by Michael Potter seconded by Justin Smith. Trustees voted unanimously on both procurement and banking items.
