Larry Stepanski, the township staff engineer, said utility relocations are scheduled to precede the stormwater and pedestrian projects. He said Veolia completed water main relocation plans and is scheduled to begin relocations "around August '26 and complete it in September '26," and that some Verizon cable work will occur concurrently with the stormwater construction.
Stepanski laid out design and construction milestones: surveys completed in 2025, easement acquisition Aug–Oct 2026, storm design completion in November 2026, bidding and awards in late 2026, pre‑construction in January 2027 and construction March–June 2027 (stormwater) with final completion cited as June 2027. He advised residents to expect 7 a.m.–5 p.m. weekday work, intermittent driveway restrictions and lane closures, and said staff will coordinate arrangements for emergency vehicles, mail and trash during construction.
