The board approved a special-use permit allowing Wilson Court LLC to use 200 Wilson Court as a maintenance facility for company vehicles and trailers after the Community Development Commission recommended approval with conditions.
Staff outlined the proposal: "Wilson Court LLC is the owner of the property, and they're requesting a special use permit for motor vehicle repair and service on, on the property. The business that would occupy this building is an existing Bentonville business interested in occupying the entire building, to use it for maintenance, as a maintenance facility for their cartage company. The premises would be used for maintenance of only the company suite vehicles and trailers. No repairs will be performed on the premises." The CDC recommended conditions including limiting the special-use permit to Wilson Court LLC (transfer only after CDC review and Village Board approval), prohibiting outdoor storage of tires, requiring orderly outdoor storage if any, installing a triple catch basin, banning spray painting, and requiring that all maintenance occur inside the building.
The ordinance was adopted by roll call (4–0). The village will enforce the permit conditions through permit review and inspections; the board recorded no objectors at the CDC hearing.
