The Valley View ISD Board approved a slate of 2024–2025 interlocal cooperative purchasing agreements during its April 14 meeting. The cooperatives approved include The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative (TASB), Harris County Dept. of Education Purchasing Cooperative (Choice Partners), PACE, Region I and Region 2/8 cooperatives (Good Buy, TIPS), OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell and Region 19-Allied States Cooperative. Sandra C. Martinez, Finance Director, presented the item.
The board approved the interlocal agreements by unanimous motion (moved by Claudia Coronado; second by Jaime Gaona). The approvals allow the district to procure goods and services through established cooperative contracts for the 2024–2025 year.
