Staff explained: "Douglas Sisco, the owner of the property, at 301 Miner Street is requesting a zoning variation to a 6 foot tall fence in the front yard of his lot." Staff said the house's placement leaves usable yard space in the front, and the applicant sought a contained area for his child and privacy. The CDC held the required public hearing, received no objectors, and recommended a modified version with the setback reduction.
The board approved the ordinance by roll call (4–0). The permit and setback terms will be enforced through the village's permit and inspection process.
