The Village Board voted to approve a zoning variation for 245 May Street after the Community Development Commission recommended approval with conditions.
Community development staff reported: "Joshua Yee, the resident at the, address, 245 May Street is requesting a zoning variation to allow a detached garage in the corner side yard And to allow a parking pad 18 square feet larger than the maximum permitted." The CDC recommended conditions including placing windows on the side elevation facing May Street, substantial compliance with the submitted site plan, and compliance with all building permit requirements.
The board approved the ordinance by roll call (4–0). Implementation will require the applicant to follow the site plan conditions and obtain building permits; the CDC also required the additional paved area to be constructed in substantial compliance with the submitted plan.
