Van Alstyne ISD recognizes campus and district Teachers and Paras of the Year

Van Alstyne ISD introduced campus and district Teachers and Paraprofessionals of the Year, naming Jennifer Ramirez the district elementary Teacher of the Year and Jason Brogdon the district secondary Teacher of the Year. Winners from each campus were acknowledged by the board.
The Van Alstyne ISD Board of Trustees introduced this year’s campus and district Teachers and Paraprofessionals of the Year at its May 12, 2025 meeting. The board named Jennifer Ramirez the district elementary Teacher of the Year and Jason Brogdon the district secondary Teacher of the Year.
Campus winners announced included Jennifer Ramirez-Partin and Kathy Mosby-Sanford at elementary campuses; Jennifer McClellan at the middle school; Jason Brogdon at the junior high; and Dru Murray at the high school. Paraeducator winners included Mindy Bedard-Partin, Amanda Ozbun-Sanford, Sage Beck, Stacy Rickett and Sydney Holland. The recognitions were informational and honored classroom and support staff contributions for the school year.
