Staff said the scope includes a new concrete roadway, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, a 12‑inch water main, storm sewer work, street lighting and landscaping; the project received a $3,000,000 DCEO grant and a special service area will cover part of local costs.
The board also approved a construction engineering services agreement with Civiltech Engineering not to exceed $706,567 (about 8.6% of construction cost) to provide on‑site inspection, material testing and record drawings. Staff recommended both awards after a competitive bid process; the board approved the resolutions by roll call.
